Requires Java/JavaScript enabled Browser

This paragraph will contain important club announcements, but right now I am using it to tell you about this prototype design. When this page is finalized it will contain 11 menu buttons at left which lead to fly-out submenus when necessary. Click on either one of the two buttons at left to see an example. The links are not live yet. You can view an outline of the proposed menu and site structure here. The BVARC Index link at the bottom of the page will be retained to accomodate text-based browsers and speech readers. Please send all comments to A. M. Schaer, KD5UJT, schaer@hal-pc.org. When reporting problems PLEASE follow the instructions in no. 6 below.
  1. Other than not being live links, do the menus behave in your browser and operating system? Can you move your mouse over the submenus without them jumping around uncontrollably?
  2. Above the first paragraph our old moving led sign has been replaced by a new Java applet. Do you see scrolling text?
  3. Do the graphics look ok ( i.e., there are no white lines anywhere and text is placed appropriately)?
  4. I think I've covered the troublespots above, but feel free to make other comments concerning the usability, aesthetics and organization of the site. My goal is to give the site a more contemporary look, not reinvent the wheel.
  5. You don't have to be a member to comment.
  6. When reporting any problem, include the names and EXACT versions of your browser and operating system. In Microsoft systems, this information can be found under "Help, About" in the browser and File Explorer menus, respectively. If discussing graphical peculiarities and/or needed improvements, screen captures would be helpful. On Microsoft systems, hit the "Print Screen" key, past into Wordpad or your favorite graphics editor, save and send as an attachment.
